e-Learning Licensing Program

Cheetah Learning developed the University and College e-Learning Licensing Program as a way for institutions to quickly expand into Project Management training and take advantage of this burgeoning market.

The program allows any institution with a web site to quickly link into registration and online access easily, effectively and with little cost.    The college registers their students in our system and that is the end of their work.  

It’s that simple!  Cheetah Learning’s robust web site maintains all registrations, provides detailed ongoing, real time reporting to the licensed institution on student’s status and registrations and most importantly, provides a professional looking user friendly experience for prospective students.

Technical Requirements

An institution posts the summary of Cheetah Learning’s PM Certificate programs and course descriptions on their website.  The students register through the college as they would for any of the other college courses.  The college then registers the student on the Cheetah Learning website and we take over from there.  Cheetah Learning invoices the college based on the agreed upon rate per student – it is that simple.

·         The tracking of student progress

·         The issuance of the PM Certificate at the successful completion of the program

Program Commitment

Due to the nature and duration of the PM Certificate programs, the Cheetah Learning LLC e-licensing program is based on a one year commitment.

e-Learning Experience

The Cheetah Learning e-learning online experience emphasizes skill development leading to mastery using the Cheetah Learning’s Quality in Learning online course delivery system.  With this system students interact with their instructor and other students online, but do the course activities in their day-to-day professional pursuits so they learn the material in their own context. (They do these activities at work and if not working, as a volunteer for a non-profit).  For each course in the program, they have to complete a number of activities that are reviewed by their instructor and create an action plan on how they are going to incorporate their new skills into their Project Management practices.  It is a hands-on program that emphasizes learning the new concepts through application.  The instructor acts as the guide on the side ensuring the student’s mastery of the skills. 

University or College Revenue Generation

For the college partnerships that have worked the best, we have kept the arrangement very simple.   The college registers their students on our website and we invoice the agreed upon fee.  Depending on the number of students enrolled, we offer the colleges from five to fifteen percent off the price of the certificate programs.  The college sets their price and keeps the difference.   Less than 20 students per year – 5% discount, 20 – 50 students per year – 10% discount, over 50 students per year – 15% discount. We start out at 5% discount and evaluate the enrollment in six months and adjust accordingly.  The college is free to charge the price point that is right for their target markets.  For example, the Accelerated PM Masters Certificate fee is $9100.  For a college anticipating 25 students registering per year, they would pay Cheetah Learning $8190 per student they register.   If they charged $9100 for the course, they make $910 per student they register. 

University & College Accreditation

Since students are attending Cheetah Learning online classes they will receive PDU (professional development unit) and CEU credit by way of Cheetah Learning’s Registered Education Provider status with PMI® and through their Authorized Provider status with IACET, through your institution.   Many Cheetah Learning courses are also reviewed by ACE who provides recommendations for college credit.

Student 100% Learning Guarantee

For students who complete the program and are awarded the certificate, but who are found deficient with leading projects, Cheetah Learning will refund the (Cheetah portion only) entire fee the student paid for the program yet does not require a refund from the College Affiliate.  Additionally, the two certificate programs where the student takes a PMI certification exam, we guarantee they will pass the exam.  For those that don’t, we refund the fee they paid to take the exam portion of the course. 

Cheetah's Learning’s CEU/PDU Individual Course Withdrawal Policy:
 
Withdrawal requests received within three business days prior to accessing the online course will result in a full refund, less a $50 Cheetah processing charge or an opportunity to transfer monies paid toward another Cheetah Learning course. Thereafter, withdrawal requests received within 24 hours after accessing the online course will receive a 50% refund.  Students who seek to withdrawal from the course more than 24 hours after accessing the online course will not be entitled to any refund for that course, or any credit towards another Cheetah Learning course.
